Best Family Hotels in Majorca from the UK: A Tried and Tested Guide

We start the list with this pirate-themed hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights and our rating is 9 out of 10. Staying here is quite an experience as everything is super well decorated and themed. The shows are incredible, I’ve seen few like them: daily performances, professional dancers, quality costumes… Mind you, the shows are in Spanglish.

Another of its strong points are the pools. It has several children’s pools with waterslides, from tiny ones for toddlers to waterslides for older kids.

The food is not bad, I would give it an 8 out of 10. The cooks are attentive, the quality is decent, and there was a good variety.

I recommend the hotel to any family with children up to 12 years old who want to feel like real pirates. It is one of the best hotels with waterslides in the Balearic Islands that I have been able to try.

This family hotel is located just a five-minute walk from the beach. Since it is a very beautiful area of Mallorca, I recommend booking half board so you can also enjoy the island’s gastronomy.

It has a total of three pools: two family pools and a children’s pool that is extremely shallow for the little ones. Additionally, they organize water activities and workshops for the kids. There is a mini-disco and, occasionally, they host beach volleyball tournaments.

Finally, I highly recommend it if you play tennis or any other sport, as its facilities are well-equipped for it and you or your children can continue taking lessons.

The family rooms are a good size and the food is acceptable.

If you are looking for accommodation for large families, keep reading because this will interest you. The hotel is located in Alcudia, just 200 meters from the beach. It features fully equipped apartments with up to 2 bedrooms and a capacity for up to 9 people.

It has pools for the whole family, highlighting the children’s pool with games, a pirate ship, and water slides. For children, there is also a Mini Club, plus the entertainment staff is very friendly and the games are very entertaining. For adults, if you feel like relaxing, it houses a spa that is quite good.

The downside is the food; despite having an ultra all-inclusive regime, the food could be better.

Therefore, I recommend this hotel to large families with young children looking for apartments with a kitchen near the beach.

What I like most about this hotel is its great value for money; even in high season, you can find prices lower than the average. The complex features apartments with up to 2 bedrooms and is therefore suitable for large families.

The activities for children are very good. It has a Kids Club for ages 4 to 12 and a Teen Club with board games, movie nights, Xbox tournaments, or interactive games. For the little ones, there is also a children’s pool with slides and a pirate ship.

For adults, it features a chill-out terrace, jacuzzis, and an entertainment program with sports activities.

I recommend the hotel for families (including large ones) looking for a hotel with activities for everyone and good value for money.

Hotel located in the center of the coastal town of Can Picafort and 400 meters from the beach. The complex features both traditional rooms and apartments with up to 1 bedroom. In addition, the prices are good, especially in the low season.

For children, there are plenty of activities and facilities: children’s pool, water park, Mini Club, Mini Disco, entertainment program, children’s buffet…

Adults (over 16 years old) can access the spa for free. However, keep in mind that it is quite small and you need to cross the entire garden to get there.

I recommend the hotel to families with young children or babies since, in addition to enjoying its facilities, they can choose the apartment option with a kitchen, which is very useful when traveling with very young children.

Apartment complex in Santa Ponsa, just 3 minutes from the beach. It is ideal for families, especially if you travel with young children. The apartments are fully equipped, spacious, and feature 1 bedroom. However, something to keep in mind is that the beds are not very comfortable.

It houses a buffet-style restaurant where they serve breakfast, which, by the way, is included in the price. If you don’t feel like cooking, it also has a snack bar with a menu of hamburgers, salads, pizzas…

For the little ones, it features a children’s pool, Kids Club, and an entertainment program. For adults, there are sports courts and they usually organize billiards and darts competitions.

We continue with another family-friendly hotel with apartments located in one of the most touristy areas of the island, Puerto de Alcudia. Here you will find all types of apartments: studios, 1 or 2-bedroom apartments, and even apartments with a private pool. In addition, the beach is located about 400 meters from the accommodation.

Its facilities are perfect for a family trip. It has two pools, notably the children’s pool with slides and splash zones. In addition, it also has a Mini Club for the little ones.

For dining, it offers both à la carte and buffet options, so if you don’t feel like cooking one day, you will have plenty to choose from here.

I would recommend the hotel to families with children up to 6 years old (including large families) who are looking for apartments with good facilities for a family vacation.

If this hotel stands out for something, it is its facilities for the little ones; without a doubt, it is what families like the most.

It has two water parks, one with slightly larger slides and a pirate theme, and a splash zone ideal for the little ones in the house. It also has a Kids Club (with really cool decoration and ball pits), entertainment, and an arcade room. The downside is that the hotel is oriented towards foreign tourists and most of the activities are in English.

To rest, it features standard rooms (some with views or a garden) and apartments. It has a buffet-style restaurant with quite acceptable and varied food.

I recommend coming with children up to 12 years old; if you are looking for a family hotel with a children’s pool with slides, this is one of the best options.

This family hotel is one of my favorites for traveling with children, especially due to its proximity to the beach and the town center. In addition, Pollensa is one of my favorite towns in Mallorca, its old town has a lot of charm and in summer its streets are full of atmosphere.

The complex has facilities for the whole family. Children can enjoy the children’s pool with splash zone and games. Adults can relax in the spa and enjoy some of the treatments or massages offered.

For dining, you can opt for the all-inclusive rate. In this case, keep in mind that the buffet is usually a bit repetitive and that the schedules are adapted to English tourists.

Hotel located right on the beachfront, in Playa de Muro. Furthermore, for me, this beach is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. You can choose between studios and apartments with up to one bedroom, making it a highly recommended option for families with young children or babies.

The accommodation features an outdoor pool and an indoor heated pool with a hot tub, a sauna, and a small children’s pool for kids under 4 years old. It also has a gym with free access. The little ones can enjoy entertainment, a Kids Club, and a playground.

For dining, it houses a buffet-style restaurant serving breakfast and dinner (drinks are not included).

We finish the list with this 3-star family hotel, located 400 meters from Santa Ponsa beach. It features apartments with up to 2 bedrooms, making it a very good option for large families and those with small children.

It has 3 outdoor pools, including a children’s pool with slides, ideal for children up to 6 years old. There is also a splash zone perfect for babies. It features a Kids Club, although it should be noted that it is a complex oriented towards foreign tourists and most of the activities are in English.

For dining, it houses a buffet restaurant and a snack bar. It offers an all-inclusive rate, so if you feel like disconnecting to the maximum, it is an option I highly recommend.
