ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong: My Honest Review
By Javier Sobrino

I'll keep this brief, but if you want the unfiltered truth about where to stay in Seoul, read on. Would I stay here again? Yes. But with a small caveat: only if there wasn't another hotel in the same area with better ratings and a lower price during my dates.
The hotel is a fantastic deal compared to others in Myeongdong. It's officially a 3-star property, but the facilities honestly feel more like a 4-star experience, even if the rooms themselves stay true to their 3-star roots.

Why the Location is a 9/10
In Seoul, location is everything. At ibis Styles Myeongdong, you have everything within walking distance. It's not just the main tourist attractions like the Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces or the National and War Museums that are close by.
You also have an infinite number of cafes and restaurants that are featured in the Michelin Guide (like the legendary Myeongdong Kyoja) where you can eat for less than €10. If you feel like having a quiet drink after a long day of walking, you have a rooftop with stunning views of the N Seoul Tower.
For me, booking this hotel was the right move. The quality-to-price ratio is fantastic. 100% recommended.
Views from the rooftop where you can have dinner (indoors) or enjoy some food and drinks if the weather is nice (outdoors).
