Six hours with Maya Bay, the monkeys and a baby shark at Bamboo Island. It’s worth it, but how you do it makes a big difference.

¡Hola!

The island is 25 km long and picking the wrong area leaves you stranded, paying for tuk-tuks every day. The five areas from north to south, after two months living here.

Chiang Mai looks small on the map and it is not. The four areas worth booking, the ones to avoid and a map, after living and working in the city.
