Javier Sobrino
Hi! I’m Javier Sobrino, the creator of Descubriendo Viajes and a passionate hotel explorer.
My job is simple: I travel around the world reviewing the best hotels and sharing them here on the blog and across social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook), so you can make informed choices for your holidays and getaways — without regrets.
I studied Economics at the University of Alcalá (Madrid) and a Master’s in Tourism Management at the University of La Laguna (Canary Islands).
I’ve always been passionate about entrepreneurship and travel. Back in 2013, while still studying, I started building websites and diving into the world of tourism and hospitality.
Since then, I’ve won awards in the IT and Travel sectors and travelled across Spain. I was even selected by YUZZ and Santander Bank to visit Silicon Valley — including Google, Facebook, and Airbnb — in recognition of my entrepreneurial projects.
I’ve been featured in international media such as CNN, DailyMail, Yahoo!, and Daily Express US, and I’ve been interviewed on national newspapers, TV, and radio thanks to my work uncovering hidden vacation gems around the world.
Today, I’m fully dedicated to my travel blog and community, sharing content on the website, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, and happy to be part of this exciting project.

Hi everyone! I’m Víctor, co-founder of Descubriendo Viajes.
I’m the one behind the camera — filming, writing scripts, researching top hotels to visit, and planning our routes so we can show you the best getaways and holidays across Spain.
Javi and I have been friends since we were 8 and 6 years old. And here we are now, travelling around the world to share the best vacations.

Since 2012, I’ve been running Viajandoconmami.com, a family travel and lifestyle blog that has become a trusted source of inspiration and tips for thousands of readers.
My Instagram profile, @viajandoconmami, has grown to over 324,000 followers, making it a go-to account for discovering the best family-friendly plans and destinations.
Now, I’m also collaborating with Descubriendo Viajes, helping families find inspiration for their next getaways across Spain.
